Jeremy Fields President and CEO of Southern Star, as well as a shareholder. He has worked in the satellite industry since 1995, where he started as a technician before quickly moving into management. Jeremy holds a Bachelors of Science in Management from John Brown University and an MBA from Baylor University. Jeremy is responsible for long-term strategic operations and new business analysis & integration. He has been married to Rachel since 1995. Jeremy & Rachel live in Fort Smith, AR where and have three children, two boys and a girl.
Jeff Fesperman Executive Vice President/COO and Shareholder at Southern Star, has been with the company since 2004. He joined SSI immediately after leaving college at the University of Central OK where he earned his BBA. Additionally Jeff has his MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. Jeff is in charge of day-to-day operations of Southern Star as well as new business integration. Jeff has been married to Brooke, since 2004. Jeff & Brooke live in Steamboat Springs, CO with their three children.
Josh Bhatia joined Southern Star in 2013 as Vice President. Josh holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Southern Methodist University and an MBA from Rice University. Before coming to Southern Star, he worked for Hewlett-Packard as a senior product manager, owned and operated a multi-unit franchise, and was the regional sales manager for a software company.
Stephanie Gallant joined Southern Star in 2011 initially as the Accounting Supervisor and has since been promoted to Controller. Stephanie has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Northeastern State University and Masters of Business Administration, University of Arkansas. Before coming to Southern Star Stephanie spent her career working in public accounting with Beall Barclay and Company in Fort Smith, Arkansas and in a small practice she owned in Poteau. Stephanie lives in Poteau, Oklahoma.
BJ Barnes joined the Southern Star Team in 2012 as a Human Resources Coordinator. Since that time he has promoted to Recruiting Manager, Call Center Manager and his current role, Director of Central Operations. Before joining the Southern Star team BJ worked as Assistant Director of LeFlore County Youth Services, Inc., a non-profit agency serving at risk children. He is has an MBA from the University of Arkansas. BJ and his wife, Tarron, live in Poteau, OK and have four children.
Jay White joined Southern Star in 2009 and was promoted to Field Service Manager shortly after. In 2012 he was promoted to Regional Manager and is currently in charge of field operations for the Central Region. Jay has 18 plus years of experience in Business Management/Administration, Sales and Marketing, and Common Sense Leadership. Jay has been married to his wife, Marnee, since 1996 and they have 1 daughter.
Josh Dunkle joined in December of 2001 as a technician then quickly being promoted to Field Service Manager. Josh then became Regional Manager of the Southwest Texas Region. Josh resides in Arkansas.
